This book was a little confusing to me at first because it actually is a series of short stories that take place at various times in the original series so you have to recall what happened when and jump around a bit for it all to make sense.
Not my favorite book of the series, but the short stories were fun and gave new insights to the characters. I had mixed thoughts on the last short story when Daemon moves on with Surrel after Jaenelle's death. I can see it, part of me even likes it, but Daemon has been Jaenelle's perfect match for so long that part of me still finds it odd. Loved seeing more of the brother's interaction. They really do read each other very well.
