Thumper wakes Bambi to find their friends and go on an adventures - following tracks in the snow. Fortunately, they leave their own tracks behind for their mothers to find them and guide them back home.

Lady & the Tramp: Barking up the Right Tree

The Jungle Book: It Takes Two
This takes place sometime shortly after the first movie from the sound of it, with Bagheera and Baloo arguing over brain vs brawn. Fortunately for Mowgli, he can use both.

Pinocchio: A Real Boy
This is the tale of Pinocchio's first day as a real boy and spending time with his father, Geppetto. Being a real boy is harder than he thought it would be, but that doesn't mean it isn't still a dream come true.

The Aristocats: The Birthday Wish
Marie wants to stay up and go to Scat Cat's birthday party with the other adult cats, though her brothers are perfectly happy going to bed as they're told. Luckily for Marie, Scat Cat is a crafty friend.

Robin Hood: Castle Rescue
Skippy seems to have a habit of shooting his arrow into places it does not belong, and then going in after them. This time, he ends up the castle. Fortunately, Robin Hood, Little John, and Maid Marian are on the case to help the little bunny before Prince John finds him.

Peter Pan: Captain Hook's Show
Peter's prank goes awry when Captain Hook's shadow escapes and causes mischief both in Never Land and in London. Fortunately, Michael is happy to help his friend and overcome his own fear in the process.

Lilo & Stitch: The Dog Show
Lilo & Stitch enter the local dog show, except stitch isn't actually a dog, and as usual, he does things with his usual unique flair of chaos.

101 Dalmatians: Detective Lucky
Lucky can't sleep and wants to be a detective, but following his clues gets him lost outside. Fortunately, the pup runs into some friends and though it's past the hour for the Twilight Bark, apparently there's a Midnight Bark that can be just as useful.

Dumbo: Dumbo's Story Day
The circus animals end up in a spot of trouble out in the snow. Fortunately, with Dumbo's ability to fly, they're able to get some help, even if it ends up not going as plan. At least everyone is still safe and sound.

Alice in Wonderland: A Snack for the Queen
The Queen is a rather dangerous person to be running errands for with her inclination to yell "off with their head!" As always, none of the snacks are exactly what they appear to be in Wonderland.

Disney Bunnies: A Day with Papa
This story is about Thumper from Babmi and his family, especially his father. Thumper is easily distracted and a bit forgetful, but fortunately his father is there to save the day.

Peter Pan: Nana & the Game of Hide-&-Seek
Nana is an exceptionally resourceful dog, playing games with the children and able to help find things to get them out of the locked attic at the end of the day. Anyone who tried to leave a dog in charge for real owuld end up in a lot of trouble and with a lot of issues for the attempt.

Coco: Pepita & Dante to the Rescue!
Having pets that can cross between the lands of the living and the dead comes in very handy when the Day of the Dead celebration is near and you need information to get everything just right for your family. Dante didn't seem to really take direction that well in the movie, though the pets were undeniable loyal and useful in their own ways.

The Aristocats: The Surprise Party
Duchess and the kittens have a few surprises planned for O'Malley's birthday. They're determined to make it the best one yet, and seem to have succeeded.

Mickey & Friends: A Surprise for Pluto
Everyone pitches in to make a tree house in Mickey's backyard, however, a tree house isn't usually very friendly to a dog. Minnie thought ahead however, so even Pluto has a way to join in with the new treetop fun.

The Lion King: A Prince's Day
It's hard to pay attention to long lessions as a cub when all Simba wants to do is play with Nala. Turns out he may be a bit of a natural, at least as far as being brave is concerned. For the rest, he has time to learn and some good advisors to keep him focused.

Up: Watch Dug
Dug is an interesting dog between the usual dog antics and his actual conversation thanks to his special collar. Dug is determined to be the best watchdog ever. There may be a few casualties when it comes to the breakfast menu, but he's still a pretty good dog.

101 Dalmatians: Fire Pup of the Day
Rolly and his siblings learn that there are many ways to be a hero when they want to be like Thunderbolt or the firefighters their parents teach them about. Their lessons come just in time to avoid a real fire as Nanny's apple pie starts to burn.

Winnie the Pooh: The Forgiving Friend
Even when meaning well, a friend can make a mistake and do something that maybe wouldn't be kind or right. Fortunately, Piglet's friends are very understanding and forgiving, even if it does seam to make Tigger hungry.

Lady & the Tramp: Barking up the Right Tree
It's not every dog that gets along with cats, but Lady and her friends are all concerned with a kitten gets spooked and lands in a tree. Well, all except Tramp, though he'll go along with pretty much anything to make Lady happy it seems. Though the kitten may be scared at first, it seems it takes a liking to the quartet of dogs.

Dumbo: Timothy's Big Day
Timothy is both excited and scared to see his parents again. Of course, right as they pull into town, Dumbo gets sick. How can he show his parents why he loves the circus if the circus can't perform that night?

Lilo & Stitch: Stitch's Day at School
It wouldn't be a day with Stitch without some unusual chaos and a new adventure. Stitch is curious to see all of the different pets when he gets to go to school with Lilo for pet's day.

Even though there was surfing in the movie, this is written as if Lilo & Stitch are learning to surf for the first time. Of course, the whole family pulls together as usual.

Toy Story 4: Officer McDimples on Duty
Not all toys are meant for kids. The toys have a new adventure discovering a Taco toy that is meant for dogs. Now to find the perfect dog to play with them.

The Little Mermaid: The Tambourine Dance
Ariel still has trouble living on two legs, but she loves to try new things. It's encouraging to see her family supporting her this time around and everyone joining in to contribute to this new tradition for her.

Moana: A Day with Moana
Gathering sugar cane turns into a bit of an adventure when hide and seek doesn't go as planned. The group stays remarkably calm as they follow clues to find their lost friend, and the sugar cane they originally set out to collect, too.

The Lion King: Nala's Great Adventure
Simba and Nala are on the search for their perfect "cubhouse". Perhaps, it seems, the best place for a couple of cubs, is back at home.

Mulan: Honor for Father
While he comes across harsh at the beginning of the movie, it is scenes like this when he seems to be the ideal dad who truly values his family and his daughter. Mulan truly did do her best, and also showed that her family and friends are more important that a village tournament.

Sleeping Beauty: An Amazing Team
With Prince Phillip away (without his horse?), Aurora steps in to cheer up Samson and compete in the local jousting tournament. Certainly not the usual sport you hear of for a princess.

Aladdin: The Princess Polo Games
We don't usually see or hear anything about Princess Jasmine's mother. Apparently, she was well known for Princess Polo. Jasmine doesn't think she has a good team at first, but she learns to pull her team together and play to everyone's strengths. Perhaps most important of all though, they have fun.

Zootopia: Big Trouble in Little Rodentia
This tale is actually just a small snippet of the movie, focusing on the chase through Rodentia to catch a weasel.

Minnie: The Missing Daffodils
Minnie starts off accusing those who are innocent of being the flower prowler. She picks up towards the end though and realizes that it may be a rather innocent crime and unintentional as a hungry goat certainly has no idea that they're stealing her garden.

Incredibles 2: A Day Out with Mom
Violet and Helen have very different ideas when it comes to fashion, however, the entire family can agree on one thing: they make a great team and they enjoy being superheroes.

The Princess & the Frog: Tiana's Big-City Sound
This time around Tiana puts her focus and determination into helping her cousin and their band when the place they usually played closes down just as she gets to town. Not much of a surprise given the focus on music in the movie as well.

Sophie is kind of the perfect friend for Belle and Maurice to meet between Maurice's inventions and Belle's thirst for books and everything she can read.

Pocahontas: The Winter Journey
Rather than setting up camp with the rest of the villagers, Pocahontas finds a lost little foal that won't survive winter alone. Of course just as Pocahontas helps the little one find his family, Pocahontas has her own friends that will help her find her way back to hers.

The Little Mermaid: Ariel Makes Waves
Reviewed as part of 5-Minute Under the Sea Stories.

Aladdin: A Proper Princess
A little surprising given the events in the movie that Jasmine settles for watching the marketplace from a tree and not going over the wall to walk out and about among the people. Then again, that also wouldn't be what a "proper princess" would do, would it?

Tangled: The Beauty of Mistakes
Rapunzel doesn't know how to be a princess when all her life she had to take care of the tower herself. Turns out, maybe there isn't a "right" way, just so long as she keeps trying and makes the best of whatever situation she finds herself in.

Mulan: The Dragon Boat Race
The timing for this story is entertaining as the kids had just learned about dragon boat racing this summer. As usual, Mulan is out to try something new, and this time, she's got her whole village involved to prove what they can do together with a bit of teamwork and determination.

Sleeping Beauty: Aurora Plays the Part
This is your traditional two friends meet and decide to swap places story. Of course, they end up getting caught, but they learn some new things along the way.

The Princess & the Frog: Tiana's Growing Experiment
Tiana has always been the roll up your sleeves and do it yourself type of princess, and she doesn't stop that trend here. Now, she's learning how to garden to grow her own ingredients, and pulling Naveen and everyone else along for the ride.

Brave: Merida's Challenge
Merida's three young brothers sure can get into a lot of trouble, but fortunately, they're also pretty good at helping each other out to fix it, especially when big sister is also there to help.

Snow White: Snow White & the Three Giants
Snow White makes some unusual friends, but really, many of them are more alike than they think. With some creativity, Snow White is able to get the giants and the dwarfs together to see just how similar they really are.

Cinderella: Opening Night
Cinderella seems to have a way with music and kindness that really gets through, even if time and time again, it seems as if her step-sisters have blocked her way. Fortunately, she doesn't let their sour attitudes get her down and continues to be a positive light.

5-Minute Avengers Stories by Marvel

Daybreak
While the other Avengers are referenced briefly, this is largely a showdown between Captain America and the Red Skull, with Nick Fury coordinating the backup and confirming intel.

Small Hero, Big Thrills!
This is a cute story focusing on Ant-Man and how he not only helps the Avengers, but recognizes being a good dad is just as important, if not more so, than being a good hero.

No I in Team
Sometimes a little friendly competition is all fun and games, but at the end of the day, there's nothing that really beats some good teamwork.

Practice Makes Perfect
Tony may be a genius, but that doesn't mean he's perfect - far from it truthfully. What he can say though, is that when it counts, he usually learns from his mistakes and comes out on top.

Dino Time
Messing with time went much better in the MCU. This time they accidentally reintroduce dinosaurs to the current era.... directly into Central Park. Rather than learning to not mess with time however, Tony and Bruce want to dive into a new time experiment. Maybe it's time to let time rest instead of trying to rest themselves.

Not Easy Being Big & Green
In some ways, the Hulk's thought process and responses can be considered childlike. In truth, he really just wants to be a good guy and doesn't like being seen as being mean - except that it can come in really handy when he's working with his friends to beat the bad guys.

Lending a Wing
This short is all about teamwork once again, and perhaps learning a bit of grace. Falcon's original plans may not have panned out exactly as he thought they would, but he really does work with one of the best teams out there.

Calling All Avengers!
Sometimes a changing of the guard can be difficult. In this case though, it's about new recruits learning to fit in with those already out in the field, and those who are out and used to working together learning to trust those they've trained to help them.

Freaky Thor Day
It's said that only those worthy of ruling Asgaard could wield Mjolnir, yet here we have a child tossing around her backpack with it's power as if it's nothing. Tiring, perhaps, but certainly not nearly impossible as implied by Thor in other conversations. Of course Fury wouldn't miss a chance to attempt to recruit a new potential agent either.

Robin Hawk
Hawkeye is feeling a little inferior.... until he accidentally is mistaken for the infamous Robin Hood when he and Iron Man end up back in the middle ages. Perhaps being an archer isn't so bad at all, even if they may have accidentally altered history a bit.

Friends for Life
Vision learns how to be a friend and a few lucky humans learn that meeting someone who is different doesn't mean they are scary or dangerous.

The Rise of a New Team
Ultron is at it again, this time holding the original Avengers hostage to become his pawns, resulting in Fury calling in the new recruits. It's a little confusing how it can be implied multiple times that the new recruits are called out for the first time, resulting in the full team learning to work together, when realistically there can only be one first mission where they all work together. Regardless, teamwork is always the way the day is won in the end.

The Tale of Peter Rabbit
This is the classic tale of Peter Rabbit and how he loses his jacket getting into trouble with Mr. McGregor.

The Tale of Squirrel Nutkin
These animals don't seem to have much common sense, and in Nutkins case, a severe lack of any animals.

The Tale of Johnny Town-Mouse
A little adventures gives these two mice an unusual experience to see how others live in different places. The same place doesn't always suit everyone the same.

The Tale of Benjamin Bunny
This tale directly follows The Tale of Peter Rabbit introducing his uncle and cousin and telling the tale of retreiving his lost clothes from the McGregor garden.

The Tale of Two Bad Mice
These two mice are rather mischevious trouble makers in their quest for their own dinner and benefit. Oddly, they are also in some ways giving as they do attempt to compensate the dolls with both money and cleaning services for the things they take. Rather an odd tale bringing inantimate objects to life and in some ways justifying questionable behavior.

The Tale of Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle
A little girl has an odd encounter with the local animals, finding her handkerchiefs and learning how the critters all get their clothes cleaned, even helping to return many of them along the path.

The Tale of Mr. Jeremy Fisher
Have to agree with the storyteller on this one. That last banquet does sound rather nasty, though hopefully the frogs enjoyed it. Perhaps Jeremy should stick to his plans to not attempt fishing again.

The Story of Miss Moppet
This could be taken as typical cat and mouse games, though on a bit more of an intentional level as real cats can't intentionally tie something up and release it later on. One smart mouse however to keep outsmarting this kitten.

The Tale of Tom Kitten
Tom kitten is Moppets sibling and seems a very mischievous one at that. Not dissimilar to Peter Rabbit, he seems to have a habit of losing his clothes. Also similarly, his mother is rather cross at the loss of the fine garments.

The Tale of Jemima Puddle-Duck
We saw some puddle ducks in the previous tale when the kittens lost their clothing (on account of dressing the ducks instead). This time we're dealing with one who would like to hatch her eggs and a rather sly fox that apparently has duck on the menu.

The Tale of The Flopsy Bunnies
This is the tale of Peter Rabbit's nieces and nephews, whom it seems did not learn any lessons from stories of Peter's harrowing encounters with Mr. MacGregor. Fortunately, they have a resourceful mouse for a friend and neighbor who helps the flopsy bunnies and their family.

The Tale of Mrs. Tittlemouse
We met Mrs. Tittlemouse briefly in the story of the Flopsy Bunnies. This little mouse does not like visitors messing up her home, and yet this seems to be a very frequent occurrence with a wide variety of offenders.

The Tale of Timmy Tiptoes
Timmy Tiptoes seems to be minding his own business for the most part, earning himself some unwanted attention thanks to the birds and getting stuck in a tree. Fortunately, it seems nature is on his side or he may not have escaped to go home any time in the near future.

I think most parents and kids are familiar with the standard Five Little Monkeys song and story. This book takes it a step further with the monkeys in various different scenarios. The general story is along the same lines, though, so it's still somewhat familiar and maybe a tad repetitive while also being creative. Personally, I find that the stories teach something along the way, but always add a touch of something unbelievable that would otherwise be very relatable to a child that loses a bit of the charm, though for small kids, that bit of unbelievable is probably magic and far more interesting than if it stayed true to something they could recognize and experience themselves. It was a short phase, but for the time that my daughter loved Pinkalicious, she enjoyed this collection.
