I loved this book when I was a teenager and read it for the first time. Since then, I've wanted it for my personal library, especially now with kids of my own who I think would enjoy the story as well. My son was given a boardbook copy for his first birthday, which is wonderful. The new artwork isn't as pretty as the original book I remember, but the story is the same. An important lesson in the value of self worth, judgement, and how things aren't always what they seem. I'm glad to have this addition to our kid's library.
