This was a very strange book. It's actually a collection of 4 different stories, with the 5th story returning to the original story the book starts off with. Each set has some twist that rubs a little wrong, though there are aspects in each that could lay the foundation for something better depending on how it played out. We never get to see any of those long term plays as they're all so short. Thus, it was okay, but not something I really loved or am likely to return to.
