The Incredibles 2

The Incredibles 2 (2018)

Starting directly with the end scene from the first movie, the Supers are still illegal through much of this film, though Elastagirl has been "chosen" to help change all that. In the meantime, Jack Jack's powers become even more pronounced. It's slightly confusing that they act as if this is the first time he's ever shown any powers, especially considering he changes to beat Buddy in the first film. Kinda expected the twist with the sister. Glad to see that the episode didn't completely ruin things for the Supers in the end. Enjoyable, if not somewhat confusing. Edna as a babysitter is also pretty amazing.

The Incredibles (2004)

I have fond memories of this film as it was one of the few good animated films of the time, seeming to break the dry spell of less enchanting cartoons that was haunting the theaters up to that point. No where near being anatomically correct in it's art style, the film never has a really set style that goes in or out of fashion. The story draws watchers in regardless of if it's your genre or not. It's hard not to like this family fun film.
