This has been on my to-read list for awhile, so it was a pleasant surprise to find that it has been adapted into an anime series. There is a lot of character growth and interaction in this series, which is fantastic. The art itself is also well done, lending to an engaging story that is interesting to follow. Hyouma definitely comes off a little driven, if not possessed, at times, but his growth and adaptation as he learns and fits in with Botan and her make-shift family is wonderful to see.
