The Winter Stallion (1992)

Also sometimes titled "The Christmas Stallion," this is a more low-key horse film, especially compared to the more common racing films like Seabiscuit and Secretariat that have come out recently. This film tells the story of a young girl who wishes to keep her grandfather's farm and a greedy land developer trying to swipe it out from underneath her. With limited grazing rights on the developer's land, a fire on Christmas Eve could mean they lose the farm for good. Mabon, her grandfather's prize stallion pulls through and helps the girl find the herd just in time for the end of Christmas day and their deadline on the grazing rights.
