Anna is oddly still rather innocent for all of her nightly activities and training with Prince Lienhard. It's rather amusing how she mistakes a guardian beast for a pet and the situation that lands them in. Fortunately, Carrel seems to be rather kind in his own way and helps Anna rather than being the wedge he could have been between the royal couple. It seems even Lienhard was concerned about his appearance as he can even outrank the royals. Now that Anna has her confirmation that there's more to their relationship than just ownership, it will be interesting to see how things do or don't change in the following volumes.

Despite her complaints about the aphrodisiac, Anna does seem oddly enamored with Prince Lienhard and this new life she's found herself in. His possessive streak appears not just in how he wants her to dress when out in public, but especially when it comes to interactions with Lord Barnabas, which is curious if their relationship truly was just friendly conversations and diplomatic talks. We get their first interaction from Prince Lienhard's point of view as well, which is an interesting perspective to add light to his first interactions with her and new ongoing possessive attitude.

Anna wakes up as crown princess Annelie, the villainess in an otome game she was playing before waking up in this new story. The story doesn't follow what she remembers from the game play though, with the heroine Mia finding the sad ending and her own life continuing while married to Prince Lienhard. Perhaps the only thing that remains the same is the personalities of the characters that are familiar to her, except that Lienhard seems much more interested in Annelie than Anna remembers. Aside from his rather possessive and sex driven kink side, he is oddly possessed of Anna and seems more intrigued by her new personality than worried about it.
