The secondary pairing here at least seems more respectful of each other even if there is that undertone of forced pleasure with the whole heats/omegaverse dynamic bit. If anything, the surprise is probably who ends up being omegas given they are ultimately portrayed as largely weak and emotional, but here we have a above-average street thug with an attitude and what I suppose amounts to a mafia secretary/second-in-command who comes across as an immovable force to be reckoned with at least as far as his personality goes both being omegas. Of course, despite the unconventional starts of the relationships, everyone somehow gets their happy ending.

Don't know why I'm so curious about the omegaverse hype to keep reading this stuff. Starts out horribly with a fight turning into rape/forced bond resulting in a broken arm (from the fight) and birth control treatment for the latter. Not an okay or good way to start a relationship. With one being an street thug and the other being outright yakuza, I suppose the fighting angle isn't much of a surprise. The 180 to suddenly wanting a relationship with each other instead of trying to tear each other to bits is a bit much though. The thug literally becomes a crybaby omega that just wants his alpha all the time. Rather aggravating overall.
