Olaf sets off to find a ghost when he can't sleep during a slumber party with Anna and Elsa. He didn't plan on being mistaken for a ghost along the way. Fortunately, the sisters don't seem to scare that easily.

This is yet another retelling of Frozen 2. While others tell the whole story or focus on other specific parts, this one focuses on the 4 spirits Elsa meets and must face to restore peace. It doesn't specify how that peace is found or the movies ending, so this isn't the best summary if you are wanting the full tale.

This is the storybook form of Frozen Fever, so it's very predictable and well known if you seen the short clip. Elsa is determined to make Anna's birthday the best now that they're no longer separated.... but she doesn't account for the queen of ice being able to get a cold. That's okay though, because it isn't the things that make it the best birthday ever for Anna.

Disney Getaway Blast!
Disney Getaway Blast! (Android)

The design seems to take an almost chibi-style version of the Disney cast, and places them an island. You must complete various match levels similar to games like Frozen Adventures or Frozen: Free Fall and use the progress earned from beating these levels to complete quests and tasks within the game, unlocking more characters along the way. Personally, I really don't need another match and build type game, but the kids absolutely love being able to play this on their tablets in between digital class time now that school is all remote for the remainder of this school year.

This game merges the idea of Frozen: Free Fall with the blast style game with the design mode of games like Word Villas or Homescapes to walk through the world of Frozen 2. Seems to be missing a game sync option, which means transferring devices will lose your game data. Otherwise, it seems to walk through design options for different areas of Arendelle as the sisters get ready for a party in their kingdom. Expect to see the rest of the cast come in as needed to walk through the adventure, though it seems like Anna, Elsa, or Olaf will be the ones who will end up as character power-ups, or so it seems from the early portion of the game.

Frozen 2 (2019)
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This sequel was hyped up a lot before it's release, but I tried not to get my hopes up too much as Disney seems to have a habit of either doing a sequel really well, or flopping big time. The music was catchy and the emotional roller coaster was real. There were scenes that were hysterical and ones that had you choking back tears. While the movie continues on from the end of the first film, we also see a lot more of the sister's history with their parents as they uncover the past of their land and what really happened to their family. Olaf remains a source of comic relief, but Kristoff and Sven have their own moment in the limelight as well.

Frozen: Welcome, Spring!

The main heroes of Frozen decide to go on a Spring picnic only to be caught in a rainstorm. Anna forgot all the food except dessert and it's only thanks to Elsa's powers that they're able to dry off (though likely a bit cold still doing it, which isn't mentioned). There is a lot of silliness in this story, which makes it easy for kids to smile at it even when something goes "wrong." They also make the best of every situation that pops up, which is admirable.

Frozen: A Day in the Sun

This is a very simplistic story book from Olaf's point of view as he compares things from winter weather to warm weather. Penguins don't do as well as pigeons in the sun after all. Personally I found it very short and a little odd. My daughter, who is the one that picked it out for her book order, loved it. I guess as long as she's happy with it, that's what counts in the long run.
