While I was at least partially correct in what was expected for this volume, it did indeed have it's own twists and turns in the storyline. Tougo's parents make an appearance in a larger part in this volume than the others, though we still see more of Subaru's parents as his mother helps him plan the wedding and travels with him while Tougo is at the photoshoot. This volume is also the most explicit of all of the volumes, which, again, makes sense with the evolving relationship and timeline presented. At least it's more natural and tastefully done rather than feeling like it's the entire focus of the story and all that's moving things along as some BL stories can be at times. On a whole, this is a rather wholesome series with a different pairing given Subaru's handicap, and the slow burn slice of life as they come together.

After We Gazed at the Starry Sky 2 by Bisco Kida

This is a very cute continuation to Subaru and Tougo's story together as Tougo learns more about what things must look like for Subaru in order to make arrangements for them to live together. We even get to see Tougo meet Subaru's family, though there is very little mention of Tougo's own family outside of his mother's passing. There is also a lot more interaction with their conservatory friends once the two of them are navigating living together as they go on more small trips together and explore the things they want together. This ends on a rather sweet note with the meteor shower and Tougo's surprise for Subaru that still has him staring - have to agree with Tougo that it's both amusing and cute. Could make some guesses as to where the next volume will lead, but who's to say there won't be any other surprises along the way.

Subaru is a designer who has always admired Tougo's photography, longing to visit the places where the starry sky is shown in his pictures. Except Subaru was born paralyzed, unable to feel anything from his knees down. The last thing he ever expected was to meet his idol, let alone that they would become friends and then something more. It's very fast paced, but a cute story covering a length of time given the passing seasons and multiple overseas trips that are mentioned along the way. It will be interesting to see where the rest of the series takes this pair given how much ground is already covered in this volume.
