This overlaps with some of the other Disney publications and 5-Minute Stories collections. It's still a fun addition to any Disney story library, though, and kids seem to enjoy it. Stories include the following:

These two halves of a book each give descriptions to end on how the other is the best buddy there is. One side is from Arlo's point of view all about his friend Spot. The other is about Arlo and told from Spot's point of view. Both are very simple readers, very short, and to the point, but also cute. Mostly makes sense for small readers who are also familiar with the original The Good Dinosaur movie so they have some familiarity with the characters.

This is an interesting story about a young dinosaur, Arlo, who doesn't really fit in with his herd, and a lot caveman, Spot. Not at all what I was expecting, both from rumors and from usual Disney kid's films. The was on par, and the story fitting for the time period. Not really sure it's as "kid friendly" as most of their films are as it has a lot of dark periods between the constant threat of being eaten and/or drowning as Arlo's father does.
