Marvel Cinematic Universe 07: Iron Man 3

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was very well done, and surprisingly bloody for a Marvel film. Suffering from PTS, Tony Stark barely avoids going off the deep end as he tries to insulate his relationship with Pepper and keep up the outward appearance of the untouchable hero. The cracks are sever and obvious as his world literally comes crumbling down around him, with Pepper right in the cross-hairs. The original was still the best, but this one ranked better in overall film quality than the second in the series. Still lots of plot spackle which is nicely tied up and swept under the rug. If not for the possible exploding consequences, the new and improved Pepper might have had advantages to add to the Avengers and stay by Iron Man's side even more than just as Tony Starke.

Marvel Cinematic Universe 03: Iron Man 2

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Tony goes a little off his rocker in this film to the extreme. Somewhat understandable given the whole dying scenario, but still leaves a bitter taste in the mouth and viewers fighting not to flinch as he tailspins from one disaster to another. The subtle introduction of the Black Widow in this film adds another dynamic for the upcoming Avengers film. Adding to that, we also now have hope of a good War Hammer in Iron Man 3. Here's hoping the action just keeps getting better.

Marvel Cinematic Universe 01: Iron Man 1

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

One of the better Marvel films of the series, this was very well done and highly entertaining. A great interpretation of a rich genius turned super hero through his own inventions and developing conscious. Pepper Potts especially adds just the right contrast to Tony's philandering; you can't help but cheer for the pair. This left the scene very promising for continuing Iron Man films.
