Poor Amon is feeling rather left out, though he's more understanding of Briddy's attention being focused on their kids than when they're out with other nobles. We get snippets of all the couples here, including more of the story with Briddy's own parents, filling in more of the gaps there. It would be interesting to see if Adellai really has learned and is able to mend some of the bridges she's burned, though at least things look to be going in a positive direction all in all. Even Lucy and Lart seem to have found their happy ending, even if Lart is rather busy trying to run the kingdom now. It's a high note to end the series on, with the usual emotional pulls and a side dose of cuteness with all the kittens, including Amon.

This is a rather fast-moving addition to the series. So much death followed by so many new memories and meetings. In some ways, it's rather convenient how a lot of it works out, but it also doesn't seem like the roller coaster is over just yet either. At least Amon and Briddy seem to be on a good path overall, as is the rest of their family. Even Adellai seems to have weathered the worst of the storm and seems at least a little more stable on the other side. There were some pretty hard revelations thrown around with all of the reincarnation and divine power references. At least if nothing else, Briddy seems to have broken the cycle Amon was so terrified about.

Well that got dark pretty fast. Adellai really went off the rails, and Barahan right along with her. It seems even Philip had delusions of grandeur. At least the emperor and Lart have both seen the light and remain with Briddy and Amon. Seems like things may get even more interesting, or did Briddy really manage to find the key to stopping everything just in the nick of time with this sword?

Briddy is still rather naive when it comes to her relationship with Amon, but she has at least some clearer ideas since the engagement. If nothing else, Amon has been a lot more obvious in his intentions, leading to him being called a perverted beast more often than not. These dreams (or possible memories?) are an interesting turn of events, especially when we see how similar these past beings resemble Briddy and Amon in their current forms. While Briddy is naive when it comes to romance, it seems she's right on the nose when it comes to her sister's intentions and what the actions at the ball might really mean. Leaving it off on a cliff hanger at the end of this one, especially with Amon searching out the Elder who was last seen just after the ball. Could be storm clouds brewing instead of the peace most of them had hoped for.

Interesting that Briddy defines her place now as being in the palace and with the Divine Beasts, specifically Amon. She still seems a bit clueless as to what he's after, but she clearly trusts him most of anyone as well. It's good to see her relationships with her brother and father improving, though her sister seems to being going down a rather dark path, and determined that no one will stop her. This new power could indeed be problematic in many ways, especially with Adellai in control. Amon certainly won't stand for any of this once he learns how real these threats may be, let alone that Briddy seems to be Adellai's focal point, to the point that she can't even see her own obsession.

Amon keeps dropping hints with Briddy, but has yet to outright tell her what he is planning or what he wants, resulting in a lot of confusion even as they continue to grow closer. Meanwhile, Lart seems to have grown up very quickly and is taking a much more active role, to the point where he seems even closer to Blondina and Lucy than to Adellai. Adellai, on the other hand, seems to be getting more and more desperate, especially as she realizes Lart has his own eyes on the throne after all and isn't just the airheaded prince everyone seems to have written him off as previously. Even the emperor is clearly fond of Blondina and would prefer peace with the Divine Beasts as well. Until Amon spoke to them however, he wouldn't have had any way of knowing just how easily that dream may be attained, at least as long as Amon and Briddy remain so close. Overall, it's little steps forward with each new installment to this series. It will be interesting to see how everyone reacts when they learn Briddy survived the ice, and just how far Amon is willing to go at this point after having thought he lost her.

Blondina's life is still fairly quiet for the most part, except Amon is determined to make things better for her. It seems they both are truly after the same commitment from each other, but aren't understanding each other with their assumptions about the differences in their nature to understand that. Should be interesting to see how the rest of the castle reacts to Amon in human form to talk to the emperor. Seems not everyone is picking up on his identity except for the first servant who saw his markings and both forms. Things could take a turn as well with Adellai and Philip working together to try and take control of the Divine Beasts. Can't help but think that perhaps the legend is wrong, especially with these dreams Blondina is having.

Blondina's life seems to be changing once more as her father seems to be opening up to her bit by bit. Going so far as to even scold her stepmother when she dismisses Blondina as not being as important as "their children". While not apparent to everyone, at least some favor is clear given her invitation to the forest for Amon's ceremony and the way he protects her. Slowly is growing, and yet still clueless as she seems convinced Amon is in love with Lucy.

Blondina's life takes a drastic turn from abused street orphan to royalty when she unexpectedly learns who her father is. Finding her last remaining family doesn't give her a real place in her new home however as it seems few are willing to accept her. She seems to have caught the eye of at least one noble however, and of course, a divine beast. Despite the legend of gold hair and eyes, can't help but wonder if she does indeed have this hidden affinity with the way she and Amon are so attached.
