Kasumi is shy, a bit of a klutz, and has serious self confidence issues. Kyousuke is popular and outgoing for all appearances, but actually is not as confident as he comes across as, especially when it comes to his own feelings after overhearing a discussion of his parents when he was a child. Due to this and a series of misconceptions, these two keep passing each other, convinced that they other can't really feel the same and they're better off apart, until they finally really both understand each other and lay everything out.
