Paid Leave Omega
My rating: 1 of 5 stars
At first glance I actually didn't realize this was an anthology. Even more so than most however, it is very badly disjointed. Other than the whole omegaverse tie in there are few similarities between art and story type. The characters, while having those same underlying traits and habits, are all vastly different. Perhaps the most obviously different one is the seventh story, which is the only one that hints at a finalized relationship, but doesn't force it or dive straight in. It's actually rather sweet how Nana hints that he wasn't looking for his "perfect match" because he wanted to stay with his friend even though they both thought his friend was a beta and not an omega that should be paired with an alpha like him. Too much emphasis on the secondary genders rather than the actual characters and way too short of stories for the fast relationships that happen. They have to be fast, since there's literally only so many pages, but still... too fast.
