Slow reading with a newborn to take care of, but not a problem since the book is essentially a collection of short stories about various animals in different locations and the odd relationships they form. It's a heartwarming collection that any animal lover will get a thrill out of. Originally found a copy at the zoo of all places and bought it as a Christmas gift for one of my best friends and fellow animal lovers. She then lent it back to me after informing me she just couldn't put the book down and I had to read it. I'm glad I got the chance to as the stories are too fun to pass up. I'd expect about the same results from Unlikely Friendships, another of Holland's books that I saw at the zoo that same day. Definitely one for the to-read list if it measures up to this one's fun and emotions.
