The Little Drummer Boy is a classic around Christmas time, which I remember is what I used to think this was about as a child. Now, reading it to my own kids, I realize that this is more of a general story about a boy with a drum as he plays and animals start following him. Still a cute story, just not what I remembered it being "classified" as when I was growing up.
