Turns out, hypnosis might not be the hardest thing to break. At least not for Komugi. It seems whatever hypnosis the boys have been using on the rest of the student body still remain strong enough to keep their secrets. It doesn't take too long for the sense of deja vu and a few visits from a certain "dog" (wolf) to jog that memory in the long run. Truthfully, the memories that were hidden originally seem rather benign, beyond just the knowledge that somewhere out there would be a child that at least had seen Yu's half form previously. The whole experience lead to some rather fast discovery, and it's nice to see all of them ready to stand between their friends and Sensei when it looks like he might try to redo the hypnosis once more. While it would be nice to have more of an ending seeing how it works out in the long run with this rag tag group, the ending we do get is rather sweet and leans towards a positive future for them all - even if Rin still likes to needle Yu once in awhile as if he has any chance of stealing Komugi for himself.

Just when it seems some answers may be coming, Sensei is back in the picture and it turns out Komugi can be hypnotized - it just takes a lot more power and skill than any of the boys apparently have at this point. The group doesn't take it well when they think Komugi is leaving, especially Yu. How much better or worse will it be with whatever hypnosis Sensei has deemed is needed this time around - and will that hypnosis mean she leaves after all given he was trying to chase her away previously.

Yu is starting to get a clue it seems, but maybe not fast enough. In comparison Rin seems to be much kinder than he first let on, and may have his own fixation on Komugi that is similar and yet slightly different than Yu's. It is also implied several times that Rin may be very attached to Yu and his care for him is ultimately what changes his behavior for better or worse. There's not really any background beyond those comments to indicate why that may be, but it would seem these two are particularly close out of the bunch of them.

Komugi seems different from the other humans for some reason, but none of them seem to be able to figure out why. For all of Rin's warnings and prickly personality, it seems some things can't be helped. Of course she'd end up drawn to the person she's not "supposed" to fall for, especially with all of the kindness and attention being thrown her way. The girl would have to be a rock to not be affected at all. It's implied Senri once lived as a common house cat, which would be strange with two tails. They are intentionally very vague while also revealing some of their story and how these "animals" have come to live in the human world.
