This was 1 of 3 books in the
Track Stars! collection from Target. It essentially is the continuation of the first movie, telling how all the cars from Radiator Springs make it to one of Lightning's races that he wins. As a level 1 Step Into Reading book, it is written in an overly simple style for Preschool-Kindergarten.
