The stories themselves are relatively short and easy to read, especially as the book is in large print and does include illustrations. Most of the stories are newer, but a few, like Brother Bear and Ratatouille are basically just re-telling the movies. Still, these are always fun collections. Stories in this collection include:

Brother Bear 2 (2006)

Not as good as the original, but alright for a sequel. Koda once again has to face the fear of losing his big brother as Nita comes on the scene. It would appear love is in the air as not only do Nita and Kenai realize their fated to be together, but even the awkward moose, Rutt and Tuke, find their prospective matches. In the end, it's really Nita that has something to learn this time around, about both love, family, and bravery. Sometimes your future isn't where you think it should be.

Kenai has some hard lessons to learn about love and life. Lucky for him, his totem could be seen as a double meaning, symbolizing love in the form of a bear. Rather symbolic given that's his greatest lesson to learn, and he finds it in the form of a bear... literally. If not for Koda, Kenai might not have ever learned this lesson, let alone seen his brother Denahi again. At least his brother now recognizes who he is, even if they can't really communicate well bear to man. It helps when your own family isn't trying to kill you out of some misguided desire for revenge.
