Based on fantasy and dance, this is a fairy tale come to life as each "character" fights their fate and tries to make their world the way they think it should be through ballet. Much lighter than many series with just a teasing hint of a love story intertwined  The ending is both well done and leaves something to be desired as you can't help but hope Ahiru gets her happily ever after, too.

The first time I watched this shortly after High School, I found it highly fascinating. The artwork is reminiscent of many other series I've watched (Knight Hunters, Fushigi Yugi, Mirage of Blaze, etc). The story itself is rather complex and more than a little odd. The language is more course than most anime, and the confusion over the main pair being siblings or not is more than a little strange. They have a rather bloody way of awakening supposed angels or demons too, so I wouldn't advise watching this if you're younger and/or can't stand blood.

Original subtitled "The New Legend of Snow White," this is a very cute and short series about a young girl who learns she has the power to save the world with the help of her new friends, the Leafe Knights. The White Pretear is the ultimate of her super-heroine forms and considered a legend or myth to those who know about leafe. The myth becomes the reality as Himeno gives her life to save her friends... until Snow White's prince arrives.
